Professor Barry Rubin is director of the
Global Research for International Affairs
(GLORIA) Center and a professor at the
Interdisciplinary Center (IDC), Herzliya.
He is editor of the Middle East Review of
International Affairs (MERIA) Journal and
of the Turkish Studies journal.
Professor Rubin's recent books include:
"Hating America"; "Yasser Arafat: A Political
Biography" and "The Tragedy of the Middle
East". Professor Rubin, a weekly columnist
for the Jerusalem Post, has written more
than 40 book chapters, and his articles
have appeared in varied international papers
and magazines. Dr. Rubin has appeared
on numerous TV shows such as
"Nightline," "Face the Nation," "The David
Brinkley Show," "CBS News," "The MacNeil
Lehrer NewsHour," "The Larry King Show,"
CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC.
He has been a Fulbright Scholar, a Council
on Foreign Relations Fellow and a U.S.
Institute of Peace and Hebrew University
Leonard Davis Center grantee. He has
taught at Hebrew University, Tel Aviv University,
Johns Hopkins University School
of Advanced International Studies, and
Georgetown University.
