Brig.-Gen. (Res.) MK Ephraim Eitam is currently the Minister for Construction & Housing of the State of Israel. In addition, he is Chairman of the National Religious Party (Hamafdal). Since 2002, Eitam served as Minister without Portfolio and Minister of Infrastructure. He retired from the army after a lengthy and noteworthy career in which he participated in the Yom Kippur War, the Entebbe Raid, Operation Peace for the Galilee and many others.
