Born in Algeria, Pierre Rehov had to leave what was his homeland at the end of the "Algerian war" in the fifties when all French citizens had to flee. He was 10 at the time. He studied law in France but chose writing and the film industry for a career.He produced films in the United States while living in Los Angeles. Back in France he wrote several novels and became the editor of magazines he created. In 2001 — to confront the wave of anti- Israeli and anti-Semitic propaganda and attacks that went hand in hand with the current Intifada — Pierre Rehov decided to lead in-depth, on the ground inquiries into essential questions connected with the complex geopolitical situation in the Middle- East. In the last 3 years he has produced and directed 6 documentaries which were shown by TV stations in Israel and abroad. Based on testimonies and archives his films dispel the myths put forward and used by the Palestinian Authority and its supporters. He is currently working on his 7th film. His 6 major documentaries are: The War of Images; The Trojan Horse; Holy Land: Christians in Peril; The Road to Jenin; Silent Exodus — Hostages of Hatred.
