Hillel Frisch is a senior lecturer in the Departments of Political Studies and Middle East History in Bar-Ilan University and a senior researcher in BESA. He has lectured in Princeton University, Columbia University, the Hebrew University, the Hudson Institute, the Washington Institute for the Near East Policy , AIPAC, the American Institute for Democracy , the Dayan Center — Tel Aviv University. He has participated in forums: NATO, the US State Department, Foreign Ministry of France, the British Foreign Office, Israeli Foreign Ministry, Foreign Ministry of the Netherlands, GLORIA, the Truman and Davis Institutes, the Hebrew University, the (German) Marshal Fund, ISDA (India), the Israel Defense Forces. Dr. Frish is the author of "Countdown to Statehood: Palestinian State Formation in the West Bank and Gaza", "Nationalism in the Middle East," in The Encyclopedia of Nationalism and numerous articles on Palestinian and Arab politics and the military in leading political science and Middle East journals. Consulted and quoted by leading newspapers including The New York Times, The Times (London), Los Angeles Times, Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, La Stampa, Jerusalem Post, Public Radio (USA) and in France, Spain, Brazil, Singapore and other countries.
