Mandell Ganchrow, a retired Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery, served with distinction as a decorated combat surgeon in Vietnam. As an AIPAC leader and as Founder and President since 1982 of the Hudson Valley Political Action Committee - one of America's largest Pro-Israel PAC's, he has been in the forefront of the Pro-Israel communities' efforts in Congress to project a strong U.S.-Israel relationship. In 1994 he retired from surgery to serve for six years as the full-time-voluntary President of the Orthodox Union - America's largest Orthodox synagogue group. Today he serves as Executive Vice President of the Religious Zionists of America, as well as serving on various boards and foundations.
