New York born Rabbi Shlomo Riskin received his BA and MA from Yeshiva Univesity and his PhD, from NYU. He received Rabbinical ordinataion from Rabbi J.B. Soloveitchik and was one of the founders and first spiritual leader of the renowned Lincold Square Synagogue (NY). In 1983, Rabbi Riskin immigrated to Israel and is currently the Chief Rabbi of Efrat, as well as Chancellor & Dean of the Ohr Torah Stone Colleges & Graduate Programs.
